Came here for a lunch with a group of 4 on a Saturday, it wasn't too busy (around 5ish tables occupied). A lovely venue, great decor. We were greeted by the waiter when we arrived, the staff were friendly and were prompt with taking our drinks and mains orders.
We ordered a seafood platter, the lobster roll and some sides. Everything from the seafood to the crisps and chips was fresh, delicious and well presented. I was, however, a little disappointed with the lobster roll which was mostly prawn and with a lot of bread/sauce, very pricey for what it is (also a bit misleading as I notice now that there is no mention of prawn on the menu).
We had quite a few confusions during our experience here:
- we were told the platter is recommended 'per person' by one waiter and for 'a group' from another when ordering (spoiler: we ended up ordering 1 platter and then another which meant we were there for a very long time).
- we requested sauces two times, which did not arrive at all.
- there was a mistake made on the receipt (missed discount on 1 item).
- there is also no signage for the toilets which is very strange.
Overall it wasn't bad. We were lucky enough to come here with a 50% off voucher but for the full price I don't think it's worth the money.
Experienced an increase tastebud delight when we popped into Louie for desserts and champagne the other evening. Such a friendly bunch and the food was perfection. Even acclaimed pastry chef, Michael D’Angelo, came to introduce himself and present the desserts. Splendid evening indeed. Thank you all
Food was very good indeed but it was not cheap. Service wasn’t as attentive as I would expect and we had to stand up so the waiter would let us pay the bill
We loved our brunch. Sad we were the only people in the restaurant for a good hour but actually we didn't feel anything missing as the staff were great and so friendly but not overwhelming. The food was fab! Lobster roll was delicious and the beignets, YUM!
Overall we will be back to experience dinner and the bar.

A hidden and sophisticated gem in soho. Louie is a socialites dream hangout- the dimly lit room adds an element of mystery as you sit on the comfy furniture enjoying champagne. Perfect for a drink before or after dinner to impress.
Louie Alligator Bar's beautifully crafted design and captivating ambience set the stage for a memorable evening, but the poor customer service overshadowed these positive aspects.
